Vincent C. Tizzio was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of AXIS Capi…tal in May of 2023. He joined AXIS in January 2022 as Senior Advisor – Insurance Market Strategy and was appointed CEO Specialty Insurance and Reinsurance in June 2022. Prior to joining AXIS, Mr. Tizzio served as Executive Vice President and Head of Global Specialty at The Hartford where he led a multi-billion dollar business focused on delivering a broad array of specialty products through wholesale and retail channels. Previously, he had served for 7 years as President and CEO of Navigators Management Company, leading the organization until its acquisition by The Hartford in 2019. Prior to that, Mr. Tizzio worked at Zurich Financial Services and AIG, serving in progressive senior leadership roles within both companies. Mr. Tizzio received a B.A. degree in finance and sociology from Adelphi University. He serves on the board of governors for Maguire Academy of Risk Management at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and the Maurice R. Greenberg School of Risk Management at St. John’s University in New York.  He is on the boards of trustees for the Monmouth Medical Center, the Visiting Nurse Association, and the Post Graduate Center for Mental Health. Mr. Tizzio is also a longstanding board member of the Freedom House, an organization committed to helping people with addiction, and a founder of Feed Belly Farm, which helps to provide food to people in need.

Peter Vogt was appointed Chief Financial Officer of AXIS Capital in January 2018.… He previously served as the Company's Deputy CFO from July 1, 2017 until his appointment as CEO in January 2018 and as the Chief Operating Officer of AXIS Insurance from 2013 to June 2017. Mr. Vogt joined AXIS in 2010 as CFO and COO of the Company's Accident & Health business unit. Prior to AXIS, Mr. Vogt served as CFO of Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. He also held the CFO role at CIGNA's Group Insurance business. Mr. Vogt started his career at Hartford Life Insurance Company where, over nearly 14 years, he held a series of actuarial roles and eventually led sales, marketing and product development for its corporate retirement business. Mr. Vogt holds a BBA in Actuarial Science from Temple University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Dan Draper was appointed Group Chief Underwriting Officer in September 202…2. He had previously served for more than two years as Group Head of Underwriting at AXIS. Prior to that, he had been Group Chief Risk and Actuarial Officer at VIBE. Before joining VIBE, Mr. Draper spent eight years with AXIS, holding a number of leadership roles that included Group Chief Actuary, Chief Risk Analytics Officer, and Insurance Segment Chief Risk Officer. Before that, he held managerial positions at the Financial Services Authority, XL Capital, and Ernst & Young. Mr. Draper received a Masters in Engineering from the University of Bath and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Ann Haugh is Chief Executive Officer of AXIS Re. Prior to that, she held leadersh…ip roles in the organization that included President, Global Property and President, Global Markets for AXIS Re. Ms. Haugh joined AXIS from Thomas Miller where she served as Group COO. Before that, she held the role of President International Insurance and Global Insurance COO at Aspen Insurance Group and was a member of the Executive Committee. Previously, Ms. Haugh served 6 years at Zurich Insurance where she joined as COO, Global Corporate in North America then globally (2007-2011) followed by CEO Global Corporate UK (2011 – 2012) rising to Group Chief of Staff (2012-2013). Throughout her 30 year career, Ms. Haugh has held a variety of underwriting leadership roles and has been passionate about developing the next generation of talent by building underwriter training programs and leading sponsorship and mentoring initiatives. She is equally committed to supporting DEI initiatives, and sits as an Advisory Board Member for the Insider Progress. She was a past recipient of the Business Insurance Woman to Watch award, included in the 2022 50 Over Fifty recognizing women in the U.K. insurance market, and is a member of the APIW (Association of Professional Insurance Women), the ISC (Insurance Supper Club), Inclusion@Lloyd’s, and the CII.

Celeste Cook is Chief Operations Officer of Specialty Insurance and Reinsurance… for AXIS Capital. She joined AXIS in March 2023 from Starr Insurance Company where she served as Reinsurance Chief Operating Officer. Previously, she spent a combined 15 years at The Hartford and Navigators, where she served as SVP, U.S. Operations. Prior to that, Ms. Cook spent 20 years with General Reinsurance Corporation where she held a series of roles with increasing levels of responsibility.

Mark Gregory is Head of Global Markets for the Company’s Specialty Insurance b…usiness. Prior to that and since joining Axis in 2010, Mr. Gregory served as Chief Executive Officer for AXIS Insurance's International Division, responsible for all Insurance activities in London, Brussels and Singapore. In 2017, Mr. Gregory led the launch of AXIS Managing Agency Limited as its CEO. This firm manages all the activities of AXIS Syndicate 1686 at Lloyd's of London. Following the acquisition of Novae in the same year, he oversaw the successful union of the AXIS and Novae as CEO of the newly merged business. Prior to joining AXIS, Mr. Gregory spent 15 years at Marsh where he was CEO of Marsh Global Markets International (2004) and was the Founding CEO of Bowring Marsh (2008). He was an Executive Director on the Board of Marsh U.K. Limited. He served on the Board of the International Underwriters Association (IUA) between 2015 and 2019 and currently serves on the Board of the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA). He began his career in 1980 as a broker.

Megan Watt joined AXIS Capital as Head of Claims in March 2023. Previously she… served as Head of North America Complex Claims for Chubb. Before that, Ms. Watt served as Chief Claims Officer for Everest, and prior to that, held claims leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility at AIG.

Mike McKenna joined AXIS Capital in May 2023 as Head of North America for the …Company’s Specialty Insurance business. Prior to joining AXIS, Mr. McKenna held Chief Underwriting Officer roles with Falvey Insurance Group, The Hartford (Global Specialty Division), and Navigators (U.S. Insurance Segment), and served as SVP of the Specialty Reinsurance Division at Aon Benfield.

Alistair Robson is Head of Underwriting for Global Markets, the company’s speci…alty insurance business, and also Chief Underwriting Officer and Director of AXIS Managing Agency Unit at Lloyd’s. He is based in London and previously served as Chief Underwriting Officer for the International Insurance Division. Alistair joined AXIS in 2011 as Executive Vice President & Head of Global Property. Prior to that, he was Head of London Market Property Underwriting at Beazley, and has over 35 years of (re)insurance industry experience in both underwriting and management roles. He graduated with a degree in Geography from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Carlton Maner is Chief Executive Officer of AXIS Wholesale. Prior to that, he ser…ved as CEO U.S. Insurance Division and Global Property Practice Leader. Previously, Mr. Maner served as President of AXIS Insurance Specialty Lines Division responsible for Property, Casualty and Marine underwriting on a global basis. He joined AXIS in 2002 as Executive Vice President of E&S Property. Before that, Mr. Maner was Senior Vice President of Westchester Specialty Division of ACE USA where he managed the Property underwriting portfolio and catastrophe management division. Mr. Maner launched his career at St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company.

Edward "Ed" Ashby is Global Head of Insurance Distribution. Mr. Ashby man…ages distribution and business development across the global platform, working collaboratively with all business units to build strategic relationships with the Company’s largest trading partners. He joined AXIS Insurance as Head of U.S. Distribution in February 2014. Prior to AXIS, Mr. Ashby spent almost 9 years at QBE as Head of Global Distribution – North America (2010–2014) and Head of Credit and Surety (2005–2010).

Jason Busti joined AXIS Re in August 2019 as President of North America. In this r…ole, Mr. Busti is a member of the Reinsurance Executive Team and oversees AXIS Re’s North America treaty reinsurance business, which includes the U.S. and Canadian Markets. Prior to joining AXIS Re, Mr. Busti spent 22 years at Swiss Re in a variety of roles from underwriting to sales management. Before joining AXIS Re, he had served as Managing Director and Client Executive, responsible for Swiss Re’s U.S. Global business.

James “Jay” Hamilton is Global Head of Accident and Health Insurance, a role …he has held since August 2018. He initially joined AXIS in March 2010 as Chief Executive Officer of A&H Insurance for North America. Mr. Hamilton built the Company’s A&H insurance proposition from the ground up, using both traditional and emerging InsurTech-enabled distribution channels. Before AXIS, Mr. Hamilton was a Senior Vice President at Chubb (1999–2010) and led its North American Accident, Benefits and Life division. Prior to that, he held increasingly senior roles at CNA Insurance (1989–1999), culminating in his position as Vice President and leader of CNA Group Benefits.

John Van Decker is Head of Global Financial Lines and U.S. Retail for the C…ompany’s Specialty Insurance business. Previously, he served as President North American Professional Lines and Global Professional Lines Practice Leader, managing teams throughout the U.S., London, Bermuda and Canada. Mr. Van Decker joined AXIS in December 2011 as Executive Vice President and Head of North American Professional Lines. He has more than 35 years of experience across Professional Lines, ranging from establishing new platforms to managing global business units. Prior to AXIS, he held senior positions at Catlin, CNA PRO, and AIG.

Linda Ventresca is Head of Digital for AXIS Capital. Prior to that, Ms. Ventresca ser…ved as the Company’s Chief Strategy Officer (2018 – 2022) and as Chief Transformation Officer (2018), overseeing efforts to grow its leadership position and profitability. Ms. Ventresca joined the Company in 2003 as Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations. Prior to joining AXIS, she was an investment associate at MMC Capital, Inc., where she worked extensively with AXIS as a portfolio company of the Trident II fund. Previously, Ms. Ventresca had been a member of the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Groups at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and UBS Securities, LLC. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Matt Phillips is AXIS Chief Application Officer, a role he has held since joining …AXIS in May 2021. Prior to that, Mr. Phillips spent 14 years at Chubb where he held several leadership roles including CIO International, SVP Global Development Centre, Head of Business Intelligence Systems for Global Application Delivery, and Senior Program Manager responsible for delivery, demand and prioritization for the International division. Prior to this Mr. Phillips also served in various roles at Legal & General Group PLC for 15 years.

Based in London, Michael Silas is Head of Global Credit for AXIS Re. Prior to his c…urrent role, Mr. Silas served as an Executive Vice President and Head of Capital Risk Solutions for AXIS Insurance from 2017 until 2022. Mr. Silas led the Company’s proposition for commercial banks, multilateral agencies, and export credit agencies, with a focus on loan non-payment coverage of project finance, aircraft finance and structured credit. Mr. Silas previously served as Senior Vice President, Credit and Political Risk – a role he rose to in 2012, after joining the Company as a Credit and Political Risk Underwriter in 2007. Prior to AXIS, Mr. Silas spent 13 years with Willis Towers Watson in New York, Singapore, London and Amsterdam, rising to Senior Vice President, specializing in Credit and Political Risk brokering for financial institutions. Mr. Silas holds a AB degree from Princeton University.
